Configuring the Telephone via the Configuration Manager

Requirements
– Existing network connection between the PC and the telephone
– Knowledge of the IP address of the telephone (can be queried under
Settings > Ethernet)
– For the operation as system telephone: knowledge of the admin username
and of the admin password of the Auerswald PBX
1.
Start a browser (for example, Mozilla Firefox).

Enter the IP address of the telephone in the address field/address bar of the
browser (for example, http://192.168.178.4).
Note: If operated as standard VoIP telephone: when you start the configu-
ration manager for the first time, a dialogue in which you set the username
and the user password appears in a first step. Enter these parameters as
requested.

Under Username and Password, enter the following parameters.



Click on OK.

Configure the desired settings in sequence (page by page).
Further Steps
– Once you have configured all the settings, first save the configuration as a
file on the hard drive.

If operated as standard VoIP telephone: The username and the pass-
word for the telephone.
The configuration manager opens.
