of the telephone leads to malfunctions.

Configuring the Telephone via the Configuration Manager

Requirements
– Network connection between the PC and the telephone
– Knowledge of the IP address of the telephone (see Apps > Settings >
Ethernet)
– For the operation as system telephone: knowledge of the admin username
and of the admin password of the Auerswald PBX
Start a browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox).

Enter the IP address of the telephone in the address field of the browser

(e.g. http://192.168.178.4).
Note: If operated as standard VoIP telephone: when the configuration man-
ager starts for the first time, a dialogue in which you set the username and
the user password appears. Enter these parameters as required.
Under Username and Password, enter the following parameters.

Click on OK.

Configure the required settings.

Further Steps
When you have configured all the settings, you can save the configuration
as a file on the hard disk.

Therefore, note the socket labels.
If operated as a system telephone: The admin username and the
admin password of the PBX.
If operated as standard VoIP telephone: The username and the pass-
word for the telephone.
The configuration manager opens.
