Using the Telephone

2. Press the Register key to confirm the message Please register handset
on the handset.
The system displays a clock symbol and the message Searching for a
base in registration mode.
When registration has completed, the handset changes to the idle state. The
handset's name is displayed in the display. If not, repeat the procedure.
The telephone is now ready for use!

Function varies depending on situation.
Examples: navigate in a menu (OK,
Back), confirm inputs (Select, Save)
4 Messages key
Use this to access call lists and
message lists. If it is flashing: there is a
new message or new call.
5 Disconnect, On and Off key
Function varies depending on situation:
end a call, cancel a function, go back
one menu level (press for a short time),
back to idle state (press for a long
time), switch the handset on/off (press
for a long time in idle state)
6 Hash key
Function varies depending on situation:
keypad lock (press for a long time in
idle state), change text entry between
capitals, lower case and numbers
(during text input, press for a short
time)
