RADIO SETUP
RCR-2CENR RADIO SYSTEM
Steering Servo:
Rear Lifting Servos:
LEVEL
After the servo horn for the hopping servo has been installed, the steering servo can be
installed. With the servo centered and the steering lever on the radio centered, the servo
horn can be installed straight up and down. (left image)
The endpoints for the steering servo should be adjusted so that the steering bellcranks
do not touch the main bellcrank caps. With the steering lever to the left, the wheels
should turn to the left, and the left bellcrank should not touch the main lifting bellcrank
cap as shown. (left image)
With the steering lever to the right, the wheels should turn to the right, and the right
bellcrank should not touch the main lifting bellcrank cap as shown. (left image)
For the rear servos, before installing the servo horns, ensure that the direction of
movement for channels 5 and 6 are as expected. Use the reversing function in the radio
as necessary to make sure the servos rotate the correct direction. Channel 5 is the rear
lifting servo on the left side, channel 6 is the servo on the right.
With levers 5 and 6 in the down position on the radio, install the servo horn so that there is
a 4mm gap between the tire and the inner fender. Note that the servo may need to be
temporarily removed from the vehicle to install the servo horn. An approximate angle for
the horn is acceptable during installation, that's why we have end point adjustment! When
adjusted, the lower position for both sides should have the 4mm gap between the tire
and the inner fender. (left image)
As an additional check, once the lower endpoints are set for both servos, make sure the
rear end of the chassis is level with the ground when both levers are in the low position.
