HARGING

USB NIMH CHARGER

Specs:

Input: Min. 5V 1.5A

Output: Max. 600mA/5W

Supports: 5-7cell NiMH

Output port: Banana Plug

Output wire: 30cm Long

USB Plug

Charging Instructions:

1. Plug the charger into a USB power supply. The LED should illuminate solid green.

2. Plug the battery into the charger using the banana plug. Be sure polarity is correct, refer to the drawing on the

charger. The LED should illuminate solid red.

3. Once the LED changes from solid red to solid green, the battery is done charging. Disconnect the battery and

unplug the charger.

Note:

If the LED flashes red, disconnect the battery from the charger immediately. Be sure the battery is a NiMH

battery with 5-7cells. Be sure the USB power supply is rated 5V 1.5A. Be sure the battery and charger are plugged

in correctly. If all is correct and the charger LED still flashes red, email Redcat at: support@redcatracing.com

Note:

The Redcat Sixty-Four includes an NiMH battery pack. The Sixty-Four will also accept LiPO battery packs, but it

is recommended to use NiMH packs. If you use a LiPO pack, you must set the ESC to LiPO. (see page 9)

Note:

When using a battery other than the included NiMH battery pack, you may need to adjust the weight in the rear

of the vehicle. Refer to the Tuning Guide section.
