3-Wheelin'
Raise the channel 5 lever, for the left wheel, or the channel 6 lever for the right wheel. This will raise the side of the car of your
choice, lifting the corresponding front wheel off the ground.
Note: You can drive around like this, but be careful! The steering dynamics will be much different than if you have all 4 wheels on
the ground.
Caution: If you lift one side too far, the body on the opposite side will start to rub on the rear wheel and will create drag while
driving.
Hopping
CH.5 CH.6
The first step to hopping is to raise the rear end of the car. Hopping is easiest if the rear end is raised up all the way. This is
done by raising the levers for both channel 5 and 6, or by simply pulling the right shoulder lever which raises both channels
for as long as the lever is held.
CH.3
HOP
While the rear of the car is lifted, pull the left shoulder lever to quickly raise the front end of the car. This should cause the
front end of the car to hop off of the ground. Quickly release the left shoulder lever and as soon as the front of the car
touches the ground, pull it again. If the balance of the car is correct and you can get the right hopping rhythm, the front
end will go higher and higher. The front springs will work together with the front hopping servo to create a bouncing effect,
eventually getting the front end high enough to put the rear bumper on the ground. If you can get the rhythm and timing
perfect, it might get stuck in that position.
When the car gets stuck like this, simply let go of the right shoulder lever (if that is how you raised the rear end), or slightly
lower either lever 5 or 6. This will bring the rear end down enough to cause the front end to come back down.
Note: While it is possible to drive the car while it is stuck in the up position, it is not recommended. Damage will likely by
caused to the underside of the rear bumper from it dragging on the ground while driving in this position.
Note: Driving the car with the rear end in the extremely high position is not recommended for extended lengths of time.
Having the rear fully extended puts the drive shaft at a very steep angle, causing accelerated wear on the u-joints.
