(EN)
58G017
• To avoid cutting through nails, screws and other hard objects,
inspect the material being worked on carefully before starting work.
• Do not cut material whose dimensions (thickness) exceed those
specified in the technical data.
• Before starting work, check that there is enough space under the
workpiece to prevent the blade from damaging the table or the floor.
i
• Hold the saw with both hands.
• Before pressing the switch, make sure that the saw blade does not
touch the material.
• Do not touch moving parts with your hand.
• Before cutting through a floor, wall or other material, make sure that
there are no electrical cables in the material.
• Do not put the saw down if it is still in motion. Do not switch on the
saw before gripping it with your hand.
• To remove the blade, switch off the saw with the switch first and
wait until the blade stops running. Then disconnect the battery from
the saw.
• Do not touch the blade or the workpiece just after you have finished
working. These components can become very hot and may cause
burns.
• If you notice unusual behaviour of the power tool or strange noises,
immediately switch off and disconnect the battery from the saw.
• To ensure proper cooling, the vents in the saw housing should be
exposed.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BATTERY
• If the battery is damaged and misused, gases may be released.
Ventilate the room; consult a doctor if you are in pain. The gases
may damage the respiratory tract.
• In the event of improper operating conditions, electrolyte may leak
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, the
electrolyte should be flushed with plenty of water. In the event of
contact with eyes, additionally consult a doctor. Leaked electrolyte
may cause eye irritation or burns.
• Do not open the battery pack - danger of short-circuit.
• Do not use the power tool battery in the rain.
• Always keep the battery pack away from a heat source. Do not
leave it in a high-temperature environment for long periods of time
(in direct sunlight, near radiators or anywhere where the
temperature exceeds 50°C).
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BATTERY CHARGER
• This equipment is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
persons without experience or knowledge of the equipment, unless
under supervision or in accordance with the instructions for use of
the equipment given by those responsible for safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the equipment.
• The charger must not be exposed to moisture or water.
The ingress of water into the charger increases the risk of shock.
The charger may only be used indoors in dry rooms.
• Unplug the charger from the mains supply before carrying out any
maintenance or cleaning.
• Do not use the charger placed on a flammable surface (e.g. paper,
textiles) or in the vicinity of flammable substances. Due to the
charger's temperature increase during the charging process, there
is a risk of fire.
• Always check the condition of the charger, cable and plug before
use. If damage is found - do not use the charger. Do not attempt to
disassemble the charger. Refer all repairs to an authorised service
workshop. Improper installation of the charger may result in a risk
of electric shock or fire.
• Children and physically, emotionally or mentally handicapped
persons, as well as other persons whose experience or knowledge
is insufficient to operate the charger with all safety precautions,
should not operate the charger without the supervision of a
responsible person. Otherwise there is a danger that the device will
be mishandled resulting in injury.
• When the charger is not in use, disconnect it from the mains.
