CAUTION: This appliance is intended for indoor use.
Despite the inherently safe design, the use of safety measures
and additional protective measures, there is always a risk of
residual injury during operation.
Li-Ion batteries can leak, catch fire or explode if they are heated
to high temperatures or short-circuited. Do not store them in the
car during hot and sunny days. Do not open the battery pack. Li-
Ion batteries contain electronic safety devices which, if
damaged, can cause the battery to catch fire or explode.

CONSTRUCTION AND USE
The sabre saw is a battery powered power tool. It is driven by a DC
commutator motor whose speed has been converted into a
reciprocating motion. The machine is designed for making straight
split cuts, curved cuts and notches in wood, wood-based materials
and plastics and metals (provided a suitable blade is used). Areas of
use are carrying out repair and construction work as well as any work
in the field of independent amateur activity (DIY).
Do not misuse the power tool.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
Battery charging should be carried out in conditions where the
ambient temperature is 4
not been used for a long period of time will reach full power capability
after approximately 3 - 5 charge and discharge cycles.
• Remove the battery pack (9) from the unit (Fig. A).
• Plug the charger (11) into the mains socket (230 V AC).
• Insert the battery pack (9) into the charger (11) (fig. B).Check that
the battery pack is properly seated (inserted all the way).
When the charger is plugged into the mains socket (230 V AC), the
green LED (10) on the charger will illuminate to indicate that the
voltage is connected.
When the battery pack (9) is placed in the charger (11), the red LED
(10) on the charger lights up to indicate that the battery is being
charged.
At the same time, the green charging status LEDs (13) on the battery
pack (13) flash in a different pattern (see description below).
• Pulsating light of all LEDs - indicates that the battery is
exhausted and needs to be recharged.
• Pulsating light of 2 diodes - indicates partial discharge.
• Pulsating of 1 diode - indicates high battery charge.
When the battery is charged, the LED (10) on the charger lights up
green and all the LEDs of the battery charge status (13) light up
continuously. After a certain time (approx. 15s), the battery charge
status LEDs (13) go out.
The battery should not be charged for longer than 8 hours.
Exceeding this time may damage the battery cells. The charger
will not switch off automatically when the battery is fully
charged. The green LED on the charger will remain lit. The
battery charge status LED will turn off after a period of time.
