5.2 Frequency Overview

The smartmeter C10 can display different key figures and measurement values
of individual channels.
1. Press MENU to go to the main
menu.
2. Select FREQ. OVERVIEW and
confirm by pressing OK. The fol-
lowing window will open:
3. Use the / keys to set the desired Transponder Packet (displayed in the
upper right corner)
or
press OK: a selection window will open in which you can set the desired
frequency using the keys

Meaning
Frequency, symbol rate, modulation
Signal voltage given in dbμV
Carrier To Noise. This value states how much useful
signal above the background noise there is e.g. of a
signal in a TV cable. The higher the C/N value the
stronger the signal.
Bit error rate before the FEC (Forward Error Correc-
tion). Errors occur for values < 2e-002. BER = number
of distorted bits in a time interval / total volume of all
bits transmitted in a time interval.
