4.2.1
Connecting the TV Cable
¾ Connect the TV cable to be tested to the F-type socket on top of the smart-
meter C10.

Connecting an External Video Source (optional)
¾ Connect the video device you want to check (e.g. SAT receiver, PC
graphics card with TV output) to the Video In and Audio In ports on the top
of the smartmeter C10.
4.2.3
Connecting a USB Data Storage Device (optional)
¾ Connect a USB data storage device (USB memory stick, USB hard drive) to
the USB port on the bottom of the smartmeter C10. Using a USB data stor-
age device is absolutely required for some of the functions of the smartme-
ter C10. The manual indicates which functions these are.
4.2.4
Connecting the Power Plug (optional)
¾ Connect the supplied power plug to the low-voltage socket on the bottom of
the smartmeter C10 to charge the built-in battery (see instructions for charg-
ing of the battery in the section 4.1).

4.3 Switching the Meter on and off
4.3.1
Switching on
1. Ensure that the battery-switch on the underside of the meter is set to an ON
position.
2. Press the power key to switch on the meter.

The cable port and the Video In and Audio In ports are lo-
cated underneath the black cover on the top of the smart-
