5.1.2 Searching Channels Manually

Instead of the automatic search process you can also search channels manual-
ly for e.g. due to poor reception.
1. Press MENU to go to the main menu.
2. Select FREQ SEARCH and confirm by pressing OK.

confirm by pressing OK. This will then also set the symbol rate and QAM-
mode.

A message will appear asking whether or not you only want to search FTA
channels.
¾ Use the keys
If NO is selected, both encoded and FTA channels will be found. If YES
is selected, only FTA channels will be found.
A search for receivable channels within the selected frequency will now be ini-
tiated. The channels found will be listed in the channel list.

11. After the search has ended, the number of TV and radio channels found will
be shown. Confirm by pressing OK to return to the main menu.
