Initial operation

• Make sure that there are no external materials or soiling in the grease separator.
• Close drain valves <25> and <27>.
• Fill the system with water up to the lower edge of the drain <35>. Lift the inspection cover <30> to check the
filling level.
• Only with NS 15-25: Open the shut-off valves for flushing inlet <81> and close the shut-off valves for flushing
sludge trap <82>. Leave both shut-off valves in this position for normal operation.
• Carry out pressure test, to do this
• Open the balance tower inspection cover <30>
• Seal outlet <35> and inlet <16> using suitable means
• Fill the system completely with water and make sure there are no leaks
• Make the outlet <35> and inlet <16> functional again
• Check the heating mantle(s) <42> and inspection cover <23> for a tight fit.
