Emptying the grease collection chamber

Leaking of hot grease, grease splashes
The grease mixture is heated in the separator. If not used properly, hot grease can leak or grease splashes can
strike the operator or people nearby.
▶ Wear the prescribed personal protective equipment.
Physical load/weight of the barrels
The barrels are very heavy when filled.
▶ Use suitable lifting gear and means of transport.
If no grease and no wastewater is flowing out of the heating mantle, the grease is not fluid enough and the hea-
ting time must be extended (
1. Make sure that the heating mantle <42> has been heated over the necessary period!
2. Have an additional, empty disposal tank <22> available.
3. Make sure that the disposal tank <22> connected to the grease separator system is empty.
4. Open the drain valve <27>, the grease runs into the disposal tank.
5. When wastewater can be seen in the transparent drain hose <48> instead of grease, close the drain valve
<27> schließen.
6. Undo the cover clamping ring <50>, the rest of the grease runs into the disposal tank.
7. Lift the cover off the disposal tank and fit it with the cover clamping ring onto the empty disposal tank.
8. Replace the full disposal tank (send for disposal).
9. Repeat the process as long as necessary until normal wastewater flows out rather than viscous grease/oil.

Emptying the sludge trap

The disposal tank for sludge is filled using the same functional principle (Abb. [11] Functional diagram on page
58) as for emptying the grease collection chamber.
