General safety notes

WARNING! Explosive gasmixture can escape from the tanks.
Vapours produced by the waste are always potentially explosive.
 Empty tanks with waste regularly!
 During the disposal of waste or dismantling of system components, avoid open flames and sparking.
 Always make sure the room is sufficiently ventilated.
WARNING! Explosion hazard through carry-over of an EX zone
Where connected systems are not vented sufficiently, vapours in the tank can spread to downstream systems
and produce an explosive gas mixture there.
 When connecting a separator system, ensure the proper venting of the downstream draining system (in parti-
cular lifting stations or pumping stations).
 Heed the operating instructions of all installed products or those designed for installation.
WARNING! Safety instructions electrical components and control unit
Live parts
Adjustments to the control unit may only be carried out by qualified electricians, with the following exceptions:
 Switching on the contactor and adjusting the motor protection voltage
 Replacing fuses (F1) or batteries
 Wiring in accordance with the connection plan
WARNING! Isolate the system! Make sure that all electrical components are disconnected from the power supply
during work.
WARNING! Only operate the system in buildings where there is an overvoltage conductor (e. g. overvoltage
protection device type 2 in accordance with VDE) installed. Interference voltage can seriously damage electrical
components and lead to system failure.
WARNING! Health risk due to pathogens
There is a risk of infection following contact with wastewater and its vapours.
 Avoid direct contact with wastewater and residues.
 Any parts of the body which come into contact with wastewater should be cleaned immediately, change soiled
clothing.
 Wash hands after finishing work.
WARNING! Contaminated surface!
System and surroundings can be contaminated by germs.
 Do not store or consume any food in the same room.
 Avoid touching the surface, remove visible dirt.
 Wash hands after finishing work.
WARNING! Leaking of hot grease, grease splashes
The grease mixture is heated in the separator. If not used properly, hot grease can leak or grease splashes can
strike the operator or people nearby.
 Wear the prescribed personal protective equipment.
WARNING! Hazard caused by unauthorised operation/sudden system start-up
 Secure the system against unauthorised use. (Use a lock to secure the main switch)
 Deactivate automatic mode or take precautionary measures to prevent automatic start-up.
