Testing the flushing pump
1. Flushing the inlet pipe
This is initiated automatically by the control unit, alternatively by means of manual operation.
With NS 15-25 the shut-off valves must be in the position defined during initial start-up, see 3.4 on page 51.

2. Flushing the sludge trap (only with NS 15-25)
This must be carried out manually. Set the shut-off valves to the following positions:
Shut-off valve inlet <81>: Closed
Shut-off valve sludge trap <82>: Open
Now switch the pump on the control unit to manual operation for 5 minutes. Manual operation is activated by pres-
sing the manual operation key on the control unit.
Select the menu item Flushing pump and set the switch-on time to 05:00 (min.); then the flushing pump is switched
on.
Caution: After flushing the valves must be returned to their positions for automatic pipe flushing.
