• the product does not show any signs of repairs, that a product compo-
nent has been opened, or other interventions by specialist workshops not
authorised by the manufacturer, and
• the serial number has not been removed or rendered illegible.
Claims under this warranty require the customer, before sending the product, to
contact either the dealer from whom he purchased the bicycle or the manufac-
turer and give them the opportunity to assess the fault over the telephone within
a period of eight days.
Claims under the warranty can only be asserted to the manufacturer on presenta-
tion of the original invoice with date of purchase.
Claims under this guarantee can only be asserted by handing over or sending the
product to the manufacturer. The manufacturer shall bear all costs for sending
and returning the product. If the manufacturer or the dealer has named a specific
freight company to the customer for sending the product and the customer never-
theless uses another freight company, the customer must bear the additional
costs incurred.
This warranty shall apply to the extent and under the conditions set forth above,
including the presentation of proof of purchase, even in the event of resale, to
any subsequent future owner of the product residing within the territorial scope
of this warranty.
This guarantee is subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, unless and
insofar as this is contradicted by mandatory consumer protection regulations in
the country of the respective customer.
