Setting the brew pressure
The brew pressure can be manually set using the adjustment screw.
1. Remove the drip tray.
2. nsert the portafilter including the blind filter in the brew group (see
Chapter 9.6 and 9.7, „Inserting the portafilter in the brew group")
3. Move the brew lever (5, Fig. 2) nto the drawing position.
The brewing process is started.

4. Read the brew pressure on the pump pressure gauge.
5. Set the brew pressure by turning the adjustment screw using a coin or
a flat-head screwdriver. Turn the screw counterclockwise to reduce the
brew pressure or clockwise to increase the brew pressure.
6. When the desired brew pressure is displayed, fit the drip tray again.
7. Move the brew lever into the starting position.
The brewing process is complete.

8. Remove the portafilter and replace the blind filter with the desired cup
filter.
The machine is ready to use.
