Installation

The machine must be installed as per the instructions in this manual.
7.1

Requirements at the installation site

The following conditions must be met at the installation site:
• The installation surface must be stable and horizontal.
• The installation surface must be water-resistant.
• The installation surface must not be hot.
• The installation surface must be sufficiently load-bearing for the weight
of the machine and its accessories.
• There must be a socket for connecting the mains plug.
7.2

Connecting to the power supply

DANGER
Danger to life by electrical voltage
There is a risk of fatal electrical shock if the machine is connected to the
wrong voltage.
• Only connect the machine to a socket with a voltage that matches that
specified on the nameplate. The nameplate can be found on the front of
the machine in the drip tray holder.
• Only connect the machine to an earthed socket.
• Fully unwind the mains cable. Do not bend or crush it.
• Do not use extension cables or power strips.
