b) Mounting the Elevator Unit

Insert the elevator unit connector (1) and the elevator unit
guide pin (2) in one of the two tail halves (3).
Push one of the spacer discs (4) onto the elevator unit
connector.
Then place the unit in the vertical stabiliser so that the
elevator unit-guide pin is pushed through the bore of the
elevator linkage (5).
After putting on the second spacer screw (6), the second
elevator unit half can be pushed onto the connector and
the guide pin.
Push both elevator unit halves together carefully. The gap
at the vertical stabiliser must not be any wider than the
spacer ring.
Secure the elevator unit by carefully tightening the clamp-
ing screws (7) at the two elevator unit halves.
