2. INTENDED USE
This product can be retrofitted to an RC EYE 650. The night flying kit illuminates the RC EYE in a bright
light. The circuit board enables the direct control of various lighting effects, such as running light, flashing
and other warning signals.
Control of up to six super-light Power-LEDs
The lightboard in the night-flight kit features two switchable outputs with active current control, to which
1 - 3 super-bright power LEDs each can be connected. Two white high-power LEDs are included in the
night-flight kit.
Control of light effects and displays
The lightboard has eight LED-outputs that can be connected either to individual LEDs with the required
input resistor or 12 V-LED-strips (four LED strips are included in this package). The LEDs or LED-strips
can be used as running lights, flashlight or to display operating conditions of the RC EYE 650. Channel
5-8 or an external PPM signal can be used to switch the respective light patterns. A buzzer is available for
acoustic output of warning signals. Four coloured LED stripes are already included in the night-flight kit.
Servo connection
Up to four servos (channels 5 - 8) can be connected to the lightboard and are then directly controlled by
the main control of the RC EYE 650.
The night flying kit is solely designed for private use in the model construction area and the operating
times associated with it. The product must not become damp or wet. The electronics are designed for use
at an operating temperature from 0 °C to +40 °C.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions
carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating
instructions.
