* The switching outputs SA1 and SA2 are generated by the controlboard and can be influenced via
the remote control. Thus, there is the option of switching certain LEDs on or off specifically via the
transmitter. However, the transmitter and receiver also have to support channels 5 and 6. If you use
these two switching outputs, use channel 7, 8 or an external PPM signal (e.g. channel 9) for setting
the different light modes.
** The status display indicates the respective condition of the RC EYE 650 and can be a great help for
troubleshooting.
For correct switching function, the servo paths for channels 5 and 6 must be set to
100% on either side.
The status messages correspond to firmware 2.1 and may deviate in a subsequent ver-
sion. Therefore, always observe the text file in the firmware used by you.
1. Finder: Slow pulse in status (1 s on , 1 s off)
2. Battery undervoltage: Fast pulse in status (0.5 s on , 0.5 s off)
3. Flight readiness: One pulse (0.5 s) in status shows readiness for flight
4. Zero reconciliation: One pulse (0.5 s) in status indicates the required zero reconciliation
5. Motor start: One pulse (0.5 s) in status indicates that the motors are started
6. Emergency landing: Continuous signal
After plugging on a rechargeable battery, either readiness for flight or an error code are displayed:
1. Gyro zero point error rolling: One pulse, repeating (0.3 s on, 1 s off)
2. Gyro zero point error nodding: Two pulses, repeating (0.3 s on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s on, 1 s off)
3. Gyro zero point error yaw: Three pulses, repeating (0.3 s on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s on, 1 s
off)
It an error occurs when the motors are started, it is indicated by the following error code:
1. Motor error front: Long pulse, short pulse, repeating (0.8 s on, 0.3 s on, 1 s off)
2. Motor error rear: Long pulse, two short pulses, repeating (0.8 s on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s
on, 1 s off)
3. Motor error right: Long pulse, three short pulses, repeating (0.8 s on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s
on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s on, 1 s off)
4. Motor error left: Long pulse, four short pulses, repeating (0.8 s on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s
on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s on, 0.3 s off, 0.3 s on, 1 s off)
