8. PC CONNECT
If the computer interface in the computer does not have sufficient power supply for the
electronics in the RC EYE 650, the drive battery must be connected to the RC EYE 650.
The lightboard has a serial interface like the control board of the RC EYE 650. The electronics can com-
municate with a computer via those interfaces.
Using the jumper X11, the serial interface of the lightboard can either communicate with the control board
of the RC EYE 650 (2nd internal interface) via the 26-core interface cable or be switched to the interface
connection X12. This function is used for future expansions and is currently without function.
When the contacts 1 and 2 are connected with a jumper, the
interface at the control board of the RC EYE 650 is active. When
the contacts 2 and 3 are connected with a jumper, the interface at
the lightboard (X12) is active.
9. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
The electronics do not require any maintenance or care but should be protected from outside
influences such as moisture or wetness.
