ROTOCLEAR C PRO
for maintenance purposes (e.g. replacing or clean-
ing the rotor, see chapter "Operation and mainte-
nance") in the settings under "Operation". Please
note that the window must always be spinning in
order to ensure a permanently clear view. As long
as the rotor is stopped, a corresponding message
is displayed in the user interface, providing a quick
way to activate it.
Picture-in-picture mode
If two camera heads are connected to one Control
unit, both streams can be viewed simultaneously as
a picture-in-picture or as a split screen. To do this,
the display modes can be switched in the menu.
The positions of both streams can be swapped
using the switch button in the user interface.
Self-diagnosis
Rotoclear C Pro is equipped with various sensors
that enable self-diagnosis. In the event of critical
deviations from target values, a corresponding
message or warning is displayed on the user inter-
face. All determined values and information are
displayed in the settings under "System" assigned
to the respective components.
Please note that the temperatures displayed
may be high. Hence, the camera head must not be
operated when it is in an uninstalled state. (See
chapter "Commissioning" and "Technical data" in
the appendix). The temperatures measured are
those of the FPGA and differ from the tempera-
tures of the housing.
Time and date settings
The time and date can be synchronized using
84
an NTP server in the setup wizard, which opens
when the system is booted for the first time, or in
the settings under "System". The default settings
require an active Internet connection. If a spe-
cific time server is configured, make sure that it is
accessible for the control unit.
Alternatively, the time and date can also be set
manually.
Web client protection
It is possible to protect the web interface against
unauthorized access; this is particularly recom-
mended if the Control unit has access to the
Internet. A password can be defined for the user
"admin" for this purpose. Before the stream and
the web interface are available, you must log in
with this access data.
Please note that access to the HDMI or
DisplayPort interface cannot be restricted using
access data. If these are lost, they can only be
reset or changed via the HDMI or DisplayPort
interface. If necessary, physically restrict access
to this interface to prevent unauthorized access.
Connection settings
The camera system has two network interfaces.
By default, the IP settings are set to "Automatic
(DHCP)" mode. Also see the chapters "Quick
setup" and "Network". If the control unit is con-
nected via one of the interfaces to a network, it
will automatically be assigned an IP address. If
no DHCP server is available on the network, it
switches to using the static preset IP address
after approx. one minute. As soon as the static
preset IP addresses have been reverted to, they
OPERATING MANUAL
are retained until a restart.
Access to the control unit requires an end
device in the same network. To configure the
static IP address and all associated parameters,
you can switch to "Manual (static configuration)".
In the event that the "Manual (static configu-
ration)" mode is set but the IP address is no longer
known, the IP address can be viewed or the set-
tings modified via the HDMI interface.
Protocols
The software automatically selects the streaming
protocol by default. It can also be set manually.
There are various options for data transfer and
various data formats available.
Please note that not all browsers listed as
compatible support all data transfers or formats.
Display options
In the settings under the "Display" menu item,
information on the resolution and refresh rates of
the web stream is displayed.
Camera-specific settings for automatic or manual
image correction can be made.
The stream can also be paused, i.e. to prevent
people from being recorded during maintenance
work inside the machine due to data protection
regulations.
Recording options
A time and date stamp can be displayed and
85
recorded in the stream.
Manual recordings and visual backup data can be
provided with an addition to the file name.
Language selection
A language selection is available under "System",
with which the menu can be displayed in several
languages.
