ROTOCLEAR C PRO
By default, access data is required for the RTSP
stream; this can be deactivated in the settings
under "Network".
The stream address is
rtsp://<IP>:1025/stream.h264?user=<US-
ER>&password=<PASS>
or
rtsp://<IP>:1025
Alternatively, enter the IP address and port 1025
and, if necessary, the access data in your system.
Please note the latency times for this protocol
specified in the appendix in the "Technical data"
chapter.
Please note that the user interface will also
be unavailable. You can use the API (see section
"API") for control purposes.
Http and https-stream
You can also access the stream using http resp.
https via the URL
http://<IP>/camera.mjpeg
https://<IP>/camera.mjpeg
directly.
The URLs
http://<IP address>/camera.jpeg
https://<IP address>/camera.jpeg
provide the current frame as a still image at the
time of the request.
This option can be deactivated.
Note that the user interface is not available
with this type of access. You can use the API (see
section "API") for control purposes.

Integration in the machine control
The camera interface or the camera stream can
be integrated into the machine controls of vari-
ous manufacturers in such a way that the stream
can be viewed directly on the user interface of the
machine control.
Please consult the operating instructions of your
control software on how to do so. The currently
specified machine controls and requirements can
be found in the chapter "Technical data" in the
appendix.
OPERATING MANUAL

Software

Initial launch of the system
When you start the system for the first time, you
can specify the language and time settings. The
setup wizard will familiarize you with the user inter-
face.
The wizard can be called up again later in the set-
tings under "System".
User interface and menu
The controls are displayed when the mouse
pointer is moved over the stream or a touch ges-
ture is performed. When inactive, they disappear
again after approx. 10 seconds.
The menu icon at the top left takes you to the
quick settings. There you can access the general
settings, activate or deactivate the Visual Backup
(see section "Visual Backup") and, if two camera
heads are connected, control the picture-in-pic-
ture options. You can also set the lighting and
call up the capture mode (see section "Capture
mode").
The middle control elements at the bottom of
the screen can be used to create a so-called
"tag"(large button in the middle, see section
"Visual Backup"), while the button to the right can
be used to take a photo. The button to the left
leads to the media gallery (see section "Media gal-
lery").
If the Capture Mode (see section "Capture mode")
is active, you can switch between the various
manual recording modes. The button on the right
79
takes over the function of tagging events. The
button on the left still leads to the media gallery.
The switch for switching between the camera
head streams is located in the bottom left-hand
corner. This element is displayed as soon as two
camera heads are connected to the Control unit.
In the middle of the top edge of the screen is
the zoom display, which shows the current zoom
status as a factor (see chapter SwipeZoom and
focus).
The Info center is located in the top right-hand
corner and displays the system messages.
As soon as new messages are available, they are
displayed as a preview. Click on the symbol to dis-
play all existing messages.
Please note that the options, settings and
range of functions described in this chapter may
vary depending on the model or equipment vari-
ant. Availability may also depend on the software
version installed. Always ensure that the latest
available software version is installed (see chapter
"Software update"). Some options or functions
require a separate free or paid license key.
Software update
The current version of the software is dis-
played in the settings under "System" in the "Con-
trol unit update" section.
Always ensure that the software of the con-
trol unit is kept up to date. Each new software ver-
sion may include new features, improvements and
bug fixes that may also be relevant for security
and safety.
