5.17 CHILD LOCK
This function can be activated or deactivated only after the cooktop is turned on and with all
cooking zones set to level zero.
Activating the Child Lock:
1.
Press the power setting display of a
cooking zone and hold it for about 3
seconds, until the adjustment field lights
up from 0 to P.

P. The child lock is now active, and all
displays will show "L."
•
This sequence must be completed
within 10 seconds.
•
The child lock disables all buttons except
the ON/OFF button. Once activated, the
touch control remains locked even when
the cooktop is turned off and back on.
In the event of a power outage, the child
lock is not canceled.
Deactivating the Child Lock:
3.
Press the ON/OFF button. Then, press the
power setting display of a cooking zone
and hold it for about 3 seconds, until the
adjustment field lights up from 0 to P.
4.
To deactivate the function, the slider on
the adjustment field must move from
P to 0.
5.16 KEY LOCK
By activating the key lock protection, ongoing cooking processes will continue, but no
sensors can be activated except for the ON/OFF and lock buttons.
Activating the Key Lock:
1.
The cooktop must be turned on.
2.
Press the lock button for about 1 second;
the corresponding LED above the button
will light up, indicating that the lock is
active.
•
If the cooktop is turned off while the lock
function is active, it remains in memory
until the cooktop is turned on again.
•
When the programmed timers signal the
end of the set time, alarms can be turned
off by pressing the Minus or Plus buttons
without needing to unlock the control.
