5.12 TURNING ON THE COOKING ZONES

Press the ON/OFF button for at least one second.
•
The cooktop is now active.
•
Select the next setting within 10 seconds; otherwise, the cooktop will automatically turn
off.
5.13 ACCENSIONE DELLE ZONE DI COTTURA
After turning on the cooktop, start one of the cooking zones within the next 10 seconds. Use
the power setting display (button) to select the desired cooking zone. The standby point of
the selected zone will light up.
•
First touch: Set the level according to the
part of the slider touched. The LEDs will
light up to indicate the selected level.
Sliding your finger on the slider: To the
right: Increase the power level. To the left.
•
Decrease the power level.
Activation: Once you remove your finger
from the slider, the cooking zone will
start operating at the set level.
5.14 TURNING OFF THE COOKING ZONES
If you press and hold a specific point on the slider for at least 3 seconds, automatic cooking is
activated (see "Automatic Quick Heating").

Make sure the selected plate is activated.
•
By touching the slider at the beginning, you can set the power setting to "0." A short
beep will confirm that the position has been set to OFF.
5.15 TURNING OFF THE COOKTOP
•
The cooktop turns off by pressing the ON/OFF button.
•
The beep and all indicators will turn off, except for those of the still-hot plates, which
display the heating symbol "H" to indicate residual heat.
5.16 PAUSE FUNCTION
The cooking process can be briefly interrupted using the Pause function, suitable for
situations like answering the phone. This function must be released to resume cooking at
the same power level. If a timer has been set, the program will pause and then continue. For
safety reasons, the Pause function is available for only 10 minutes.
