NOTE! The following situations may occur:
Situation 1:
Extraction level set, extraction timer set, all cooking zones off. The cooktop remains on; the
•
extraction level remains active for the timer duration. Then, the cooktop turns off completely.
Situation 2:
Extraction level set, timer set; cooktop turned off via the ON/OFF button. Level 1 of post-
operation is set and remains active for the time set by the timer. Then, the cooktop turns off
completely. The timer can be set as soon as the extraction is running and begins to function
as soon as all cooking zones are turned off.
5.34 FILTER STATUS INDICATOR
The touch control of the cooktop is equipped with a filter timer that reminds the importance
of regularly cleaning the grease filter and the charcoal filter of the hood. The filter rinse time
is counted each time the extraction is on, including during post-operation periods. When the
set time expires, the letter "F" (for the grease filter) or "C" (for the charcoal filter) flashes on
the extraction power setting display. During post-operation, the "F" or "C" indications are not
visible, but they reappear when the cooktop is turned on.
The filter display can be confirmed or reset as follows:
•
A brief press on the extraction power setting display confirms the display. This
confirmation will appear only after the cooktop has been turned off and back on.
•
A long press for 3 seconds resets the timer. In this case, a confirmation tone will be
emitted, and the symbols "F" or "C" will be displayed statically for 2 seconds before
returning to the standard display.
