5.36 USER MENU
The user menu is designed to allow the end customer to tailor the Touch Control to their
personal needs. The available items are described in the table on the next page.
1. Prerequisite: The cooktop must be off.
Touch the ON/OFF button to turn on the
Touch Control. Touch the ON/OFF button
again within 3 seconds to put the Touch
Control back into standby mode.
2. The Pause button starts to blink (for a
maximum of 60 seconds). After that, you
will automatically exit the menu.
3. Hold down the Pause button and touch
all the cooking zones in a clockwise
direction, starting from the front left
cooking zone. The user menu will be
active, and the display of the rear left
cooking zone will show the selected
menu section.
4. Select the menu item you want to view/
change using the slider device. The value
for the selected item will be displayed on
the front left cooking zone display.
5. To modify the value of the menu item,
select the menu item value by touching
the front left cooking zone. The selected
menu item value will be displayed at
full brightness; the other displays will be
dimmed. Choose the value of the menu
item using the slider control via direct
selection.
6. To exit the user menu, touch the ON/OFF
button for 2 seconds. The user menu will
close, and the changes will be saved.
