Unpack the product.

Perform a visual inspection of the product. If the product is damaged, re-

5 Operation
The product comes filled with storage buffer. Make sure not to introduce
any air into the product during operation.
5 . 1 Preparing the Sample
Sartorius recommends prefiltering the sample to avoid fouling and clogging
of the membrane. Unfiltered samples can block the product, leading to in-
creased back pressure and loss of binding capacity.
Prefiltration can be performed in a separate step prior to sample loading or
during sample loading via inline prefiltration.
