Intraoperative Application

CAUTION
Danger of injury by burns!
When foot switch / hand activation is activated, contact of tissue with the sonotrode can
cause burns.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc!
Turn on the device on the mains switch (item 12, foldout front page).

Wait until functional check has finished.

After determining the drilling hole depth and diameter according to indication choose the

proper SonicPin Rx
Drill geometry and the design of the SonicPin Rx
is designed in a way that it can drill through the Resorb x
The geometries of the drills are matched to the diameter of these implants.
It is recommended to use a drill that is at least 1 mm > the intended pin length.
After turning on the device it is set to the default power setting 2.
This power setting guarantees that the SonicPins Rx
power settings 1, 3 and 4 can be chosen depending on bone structure, ping geometry, and the
operator's working method (see chapter 6 "Technical Data", page 44).
Individual adjustments are possible in manual operation mode:
