Steps for the Installation

CAUTION
Danger of injuries due to improper ultrasonic therapy!
Interferences with other devices for ultrasonic diagnostics and ultrasonic therapy,
respectively, are currently not known, can, however, not be excluded entirely.
If necessary, appropriate measures must be taken.
Install the ultrasonic device on even, dry and solid surfaces only.
•
Connect foot switch / hand activation to the connection socket for the foot switch / hand
•
activation (item 9, foldout front page).
Take off protection cap from the connection cable and connect the cable to the handpiece
•
(item 1, foldout front page).
Use a flat spanner to check if sonotrode sits securely on the handpiece (max. tightening
•
torque 0.03 Nm).
Connect power supply cable to the device (item 10, foldout front page) and then to the
•
grounded mains socket.
Hand activation (optional)
There is an optional hand activation set. Please consider that the foot switch is no longer
required if you install the hand activation.
The hand activation set comes with a separate user manual. Please observe the safety and
maintenance information before using the set.
NOTICE
Ensure that no objects or other devices are placed on top of the ultrasonic unit. The

ventilation openings (item 8, foldout front page) must not be covered.
Observe all established rules for the connection of sterilised device components to
•
unsterilised devices!
