5.3 Control with metering pump – 'EcoAdd'
The control system/software described in this chapter is reduced to a minimum
and refers exclusively to the 'EcoAdd' pump type. The detailed description
of the software control system can be found in the main EcoAdd operating
instructions, article no. 417102276:

Language selection is displayed after the pump is switched on for the first time.
CAUTION!
When the pump is started for the first time, NO ACCESS CODE is
activated.
We strongly recommend that you activate the [access code] when configuring
the pump for the first time and only disclose the passwords to authorised
persons.
To prevent misuse of the pump and/or unintentional adjustment of the system
parameters, the pump software must be protected by the integrated multi-stage
[access code].
Setting an access code also protects the pump against unauthorised
access using a smartphone connected via Bluetooth. If a pump is not
protected, all its functions can be accessed using the EcoAPP.
If an access code has been defined in the pump, the pump will not be visible
in EcoAPP until the correct access code for the pump has been entered in the
EcoAPP settings.
5.3.1 Language selection on initial start-up

Language selection after switching on the pump for the first time:
1. Switch on the pump using the 'ON/OFF switch'
2. Select the required system language.
3. Press the Next button
