EXERCISE INFORMATION
RISKS OF INCORRECT/EXCESSIVE EXERCISE!
Before starting an exercise program, consult your medical professional. Inform him/her what
exercise machine you are using, show him/her these operating instructions and ask him/her to
perform a general tness check-up. He/she can give you further helpful tips for your individual
exercise program.
Medical advice is vital if you haven't done any sport for a long time and if you have cardiovascular,
balance or orthopedic problems or breathing problems (asthma), if you are pregnant or if you are
taking medicines that a ect your pulse, blood pressure or cholesterol levels.
If you feel unwell or are su ering from other illness, you shouldn't exercise. Don't exercise right
after meals, if you are tired or have other indications that could be negatively in uenced by
exercise.
While exercising, pay attention to your body's signals. Interrupt the training if you notice
the following symptoms: (head)aches, breathing di culties, irregular heartbeat, extreme
breathlessness, drowsiness, dizziness or nausea. Consult a medical professional before
starting exercise.
Regular exercise strengthens your cardiovascular system and gives you more wellbeing.
Intensive conditioning training is challenging for the whole body. Therefore, slowly increase
the intensity and make sure you take su cient breaks. First exercise at an intensity that is not
the maximum for you tness level. Start doing a 10 to 15 minutes workout at midday. After a
few weeks, you can extend the exercise duration. We recommend the following exercise
rhythm:
• Exercise for two consecutive days
• One day break
• Exercise for two consecutive days
• One day break
Take enough time and make sure you plan a warm up and a recovery phase.
