Setting ASF8 activates the special filter for animal scales
(Configurate Output Format)
With cof 12 format, the msv−string contains an identification "PT" when the net value has
been formed by deducting the preset tare value. Apart from that, the answer string complies
to the cof 11 ASCII format. The number of characters does not depend on the weighing
mode (B/G).

The "PT" state is also activated if a tare value was entered by TAV command.
When the tare value is polled by TAV?; command, the returned tare value always
comes without PT−indication.
