The command string for a simple measured value query of several units is:

Parameter settings in all connected WE2108:
This string can also be used, for instance, for taring with the aid of the command TAR or for
switching over between gross and net output (TAS). However, in this case no confirmation is
received, because no unit may transmit. To read the parameters as a check, the units must
then be selected one after the other.

MSV?; the WE2108 with the address 00 answers with the measured value

MSV?; the WE2108 with the address 01 answers with the measured value etc.
S98; broadcast command,
MSV?; Measured value query, all WE2108 form the measured value and place
this value in the output buffer, but no unit sends the answer.
S01; WE2108 with the address 01 is selected and outputs the measured value,
S02; WE2108 with the address 02 is selected and outputs the measured value
etc.
The master may send a new Select command only if the measured value has been
received completely. Otherwise the new Select command causes the immediate abortion
of the output for the previously selected WE2108.
