,NUL' = 000 (00 hex): this character terminates the output for the actual string. The 0 itself is
not output to the interface. For example, PCA4,0 means that the codes PCA4..8 are not sent
to the printer. The PCB string is output independently if activated by PCB0. No termination is
required if all 8 bytes should be output with the PCA / PCB string, respectively.
If printable characters are input, or if the sequence initiates an output by the Printer (e.g.
internal time stamp), observe the following notes:
The standard WE2108 protocol (weight, running number..) can be positioned on a sheet
using the parameters "SPAcE", "LnEf1", "LnEf2" in print menu. PCA/PCB characters are out-
put without formatting by default. Set a ,CR' Code at the beginning (PCA1,013) to align out-
put with the standard WE2108 protocol.
A ,LF' character has to be included after printable characters, so that the following line
(WE2108 printer protocol) will start in a new line.
Example
The sample supplied today comes with preset values for PCA,PCB so that the function can
be demonstrated with your printer. DLT is set to 2 = 2 seconds delay.
For serial production, both functions will be disabled by default setting. To use this functions,
the customer has to input a number of bytes in the PC−coupling mode of the WE2108 (set ex
woks) and then switch to printer mode.
The settings are:

(time and date prior to print protocol)
PCB is set to a string "THANKS", output after print protocol.
