Entry of a linearized characteristic:

The linearization of a new scale is performed as a rule in the parameter menu of the
WE2108 with a number of different calibration weights. Here measuring and automatic stor-
age of the characteristic points is possible. The characteristic obtained in this way can be
transferred to further scales of the same construction. In total the WE2108 offers the follow-
ing possibilities of characteristic entry:

Only one user characteristic is always stored in the non−volatile memory of the WE2108,
independently of the method of calibration. The parameters of this characteristic can be out-
put with one of the following methods:

Values which have been stored by measuring in the menu can also be read through the
interface, for instance.

After the setting, for instance, the value 3000 is displayed if the electronics measure
1.2 mV / V (given by the value pair LVA2 and LVA3).
