STEPS TO BE CARRIED OUT IN THE
"STERILE AREA":
Open the sterile package of the handpiece
and of the irrigation kit, remove the tube
and the clips;
Connect the end of the irrigation tubing
onto the dedicated handpiece irrigation
nozzle;
Use the 6 clips provided in order to
clip together the irrigation tubing and
handpiece cable;
STEPS TO BE CARRIED OUT IN THE
"NOT STERILE AREA":
• open the pump lid completely;
• Insert the thicker and 15 cm long
tubing segment of the sterile line
into the pump;
• Close completely the irrigation
pump lid;
WARNING: When the peristaltic
pump lid is open, the foot pedal of the
PIEZOSURGERY® flex MUST NOT be
activated. The parts in movement may
cause harm to the operator.
