PROFINET IRT
Bit 0:
Indication: This bit gives the user the information, if the measurement value is
valid or not. After detecting this bit being set to "1" the user may check other
bits to find out, how to solve the issue. If any error occurred so that the mea
surement value becomes invalid => Bit 0 = "1", otherwise "0".
This bit is also set to "1", if one or more bits 5 or 7 are set to "1". In all other
cases this bit is set to "0" indicating that the measurement value is valid.
Bit 3 has no influence on Bit 0. So it is OK when the source is not in sync (Bit 3
= 1), but the measurement value is valid (Bit 0 = 0).
Bit 3:
Indication: This bit indicates, whether the module (source of measurement val
ues of this signal) is in sync against its time source. If not synchronized => Bit
3 = "1", otherwise "0".
If Bit 5 = 1 => Bit 3 = undefined
Bit 5:
Indication: This bit indicates, whether the mapped signal is available or not.
The case could be:
The source signal is not isochronously enabled (e.g. RtAvailable = "false", sig
nal is not available as isochronous data on FireWire).
The module providing the signal source is not powered.
The FireWire cable between the source module and CX27C has been pulled
out or has some defect.
If the signal source is not isochronous available => Bit 5 = "1", otherwise "0".
Bit 7:
Indication: If the mapped signal has no sensor connected.
If sensor not connected => Bit 7 = "1", otherwise "0".
If Bit 5 = 1 => Bit 7 = undefined
