Ausgabe des Freifeldes – PGN 0x01FF01
Der BMD SAE J1939 enthält ein Freifeld, in dem beliebige
Informationen bis zu einer maximalen Länge von 75 Byte
gespeichert werden können. Die Ausgabe dieses Feldes
erfolgt auf Anfrage über die PGN 0x01FF01 (130817
Das Freifeld wird über PGN 0x01EF00 (126720
beschrieben.

Die Ausgabe des Feldes erfolgt entweder bis zum Ende
der 75 Byte oder bis zum Erreichen eines Byte mit dem
Wert 0x00 (0
) innerhalb des Feldes.

Beispiel:
Anfrage des Freifeldes
Enthält das Freifeld mehr als 8 Byte, erfolgt die
Übertragung über einen Multi-Packet Brodcast
(siehe Kapitel 2.2.1 auf Seite 6). Damit muss
die Anfrage des Freifeldes an die globale
Adresse 0xFF (255
gesendet werden. Enthält das Freifeld bis zu
8 Byte ist auch eine Anfrage an die BA möglich.
