1. General warning

1. The travsafe™ sliders are mobile anchor points on
GB
a horizontal EN 795 C steel rope. This device can
only be used by one person equipped with a fall
arrest harness (EN 361) and a fall arrest system

training in the use of this equipment, have read
this manual carefully, as well as the installation,

3. Never use a traveller if there are any doubts
concerning its safety. We recommend a visual
inspection before each use. Return any traveller

by an approved and competent technician who
can offer written permission for use. Failing these
inspections and permissions, the slider will be
stripped down and destroyed.
5. Tractel SAS accepts no responsibility for the
consequences of any modification of the traveller.
6. If a travsafe™ slider is not in obvious good
condition, or if it has served to arrest a fall, all of
the equipment must be checked by
an approved and competent technician who can

or similar person, please comply with the relevant
labour regulations.
