fire mode
15. FIRE MODE
The SL6+ system can be used as a fire depart-
ment intercom system. Depending on the
configuration, up to 6 bus units
can be used as a fire intercom system. Fire
mode is started by activating an input on the
main intercom station.
Configuration
To configure the dialling unit in fire mode, use
parameter *73* (cf. parameter list).
▸
Set input 1 to fire mode: *73*14#
▸
Set input 2 to fire mode: *73*24# (default)
▸
Using SL-Pro software, select which other bus
units to include in the fire mode.
Operation
Activation of fire mode (when the input defined
above is activated) will result in the following:
A siren signal sounds in the speaker of the
dialling unit. Press the reset button to stop the
siren sound. The voice announcement for the
fire mode (parameter *57*) is played. When the
fire mode is activated, the stations can only be
operated as intercom system and no emergency
calls are possible.
