The AT6 dialling unit uses a bus system for
communication between the AT6 dialling unit
and the intercom stations (bus units).
The bus requires four wires to transmit power,
voice and data. One AT6 dialling unit and up to
six bus units can be connected to the same bus.
The system uses addresses to communicate
with the selected bus unit. It is important
that each bus unit has its own address set on
the address selection switch. The available
addresses are 1 to 6. The system is based on a
two-way system according to EN 81-28.
deScription of the BuS SyStem
Intercom stations are available in different
designs according to requirements for the
use of communication on, in and under the
cabin (pit). Depending on the requirements,
additional intercom stations can be used in the
cabin (through loader), in the pit, in vestibules
or as firefighter intercom stations.
As a rule, address 1 is intended for the primary
cabin intercom station and addresses 2 and 3
are for the external stations on and under the
cabin. Addresses 4 to 6 are not predefined.
