Each bus unit can derive speech, triggering, sig-
naling and supply via the 4 bus wires. Depend-
ing on the design, it is also possible to connect
external elements such as emergency call
buttons or existing pictograms via a bus unit.
An elevator system always requires a dedicated
dialling unit on which up to 6 bus units can be
operated over the entire system as needed.
In turn, up to 9 dialling units can be operated
selectively on a switching connection (tele-

5.2. Connecting the telephone line

The telephone line is connected either to ter-
minal A of the terminal block or to the RJ socket
immediately next to the terminal block.
5.3. Parallel operation of several dial-
ling units
Up to 9 dialling units can be connected to the
same telephone line. To call a device that is
connected in parallel or to program it remotely,
the device number must be pre-programmed.

5.4. Mounting note for GSM or LTE

To avoid GSM interference, mount the dial-
ling unit, the microphone units and the GSM
antenna at a distance of at least 1.5 m. The
antenna must be mounted upright (verti-
cally) on a (grounded) metal surface at least
150 x 150 mm in size. If an interface circuit
phone line or external gateway) (cf. "Connecting
the telephone line" for more information).
External elements such as pictograms, emer-
gency lights or buttons are connected via the
12V DC supply and, if necessary, wired to the
respective inputs on the bus unit. Simply look at
the color code of the supplied connection cable.
As soon as an interface circuit board is utilised,
it is primarily used to establish a connection. A
telephone line connected in parallel would only
be used in case of failure of the interface circuit
board or changed prioritisation (fallback).
See parameter *82* in the parameter list for
more information. In the case of remote con-
figuration, this is only possible if the devices
are connected to the telephone line one after
the other and are programmed before they can
finally be connected together in parallel.
board is used, it has priority, i.e. if a landline
is used, the interface circuit board must either
be removed, disabled, or the priority has to be
changed. The mounting position for radio-based
switching (GSM or LTE) must be statically at a
location with sufficient reception level.
