6.5. Master Settings
Important: Two lines are displayed for a dual master EOC 30-21. You must configure "both" masters.
Click on master row's 'Config' button (first device row) on the 'Devices' Window to setup its properties.
The dialogue for master configuration opens.
The settings are made in the G.hn tab under NOTE to RECFG and are described below.
Note: Changes made must be adopted with RECFG.
6.5.1. Note
Note for the master (for example a device name or room number).
6.5.2. Coax IP Address and Subnet Mask
For the diagnosis of the Ethernet-over-Coax connection between master and endpoint, common IP settings are
necessary. This is entered in the IP Address for SNR Measure and Subnet Mask for SNR Measure field.
master and endpoint must be in the same subnet for the diagnostic function (master = 192.168.1.2, endpoint 1
= 192.168.1.12, endpoint 1 = 192.168.1.13, ...).
6.5.3. Notch Filters
The frequency range of the EoC communication can be limited with the notch filters. For this purpose, a start
frequency in KHz and a stop frequency in KHz are entered (example Start 76000 Stop 200000).
6.5.4. Default settings
To reset all master 'G.hn' settings to default, includes settings in 'Note', 'Coax' and 'Notch' page.
6.5.5. Apply changes to the configuration (ReCfg)
