The UV-Detector 2500 is equipped with a modern switching power
supply. This power supply works in a range of 90 - 230 V AC and 47-
63 Hz. The setting is done by the manufacturer on customers request.
The instument can be switched off with the main switch (in the back of
the instrument) or the standby key.
Please note that the instrument is not completely switched off in
standby-mode. Only with the main switch the instrument is
completely switched off.
Due to the general temperature sensitivity of detectors the Smartline UV-
Detector 2500 should always be the first (lowest) instrument in a
Smartline system. The optionally available capillary kits for easy
installation only fit if this rule is followed.
In Fig. 10 a typical Smartline system is shown.
