If you repeat the test alarm within
less than 10 minutes, two short
signal beeps will be emitted
in certain device variants.
To test with a "real alarm", we recommend that
you only use our "Smoke Detector Test Spray".
Radio group test tone
Regularly trigger a test tone, at least once
a year:
f Observe chapter 6.6 "Group connec-
tion test" on page 68.
f Observe chapter "Defective connection
test of a radio group" on page 74.
Test tone for shared radio group
Regularly trigger a test tone, at least once
a year:
f Observe chapter 6.7 "Shared group
connecting test" on page 68.
8.2 Cleaning
Note the following when cleaning:
f Remove the device from the mag-
netic carrier.
f Clean the device with care, e.g. with
a vacuum cleaner and a wet cloth.

9 Decommissioning

9.1 Deactivating the device
f To deactivate the device, pull out the
activation button.

9.2 Final decommissioning

The smoke alarm device will reach the end
of its useful life at the latest after 12 years of
usage according to the intended purpose.
f Replace the device at the end of this
useful life.
