The prosthetic knee joint is not suitable for an everyday prosthesis since it
has no stance phase control and is designed for the considerably greater
flexion angles that occur during sports.
It has adjustable extension and flexion damping for adaptation to the chosen
sport. The prosthetic knee joint has an integrated lock.
The hydraulic oil used in the 3S80=1 has a considerably lower viscosity than
the oil used in the 3S80. The less viscous oil facilitates smooth-running
movements, what can be advantageous e. g. in sport prostheses for children
and especially in sprint prostheses.
