► While standing under load (full extension), push the lever down to
activate the standing lock.
► While standing under load (full extension), pull the lever up to deactiv­
ate the standing lock.
• After each use, check the prosthetic knee joint for wear and proper func­
tionality.
6.1 Cleaning
CAUTION
Use of unsuitable cleaning agents or disinfectants
Impairment of functionality and damage due to incorrect cleaning agents or
disinfectants
► Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
► Only disinfect the product with the approved disinfectants.
► Observe the instructions for cleaning and care.
1) Clean the product with a damp, soft cloth.
2) Dry the product with a soft cloth.
3) Allow to air dry in order to remove residual moisture.
7 Maintenance
CAUTION
Failure to follow the maintenance instructions
Injuries due to changes in or loss of functionality and damage to the
product
► Observe the maintenance instructions.
► Inform the patient.
• The prosthesis components should be inspected after the first 30 days of
use.
• Following an individual period for the patient to get accustomed to the
prosthesis, check the settings of the prosthetic knee joint and adapt
them to the patient's requirements again as needed.
• During the consultation, listen for unusual noises and inspect the entire
prosthesis for damage, wear and functional changes.
• Arrange regular maintenance intervals with the patient depending on the
level of use.
• Conduct annual safety inspections.
