3.2 General Safety Instructions

WARNING
Using the product
Severe falls due to improper use of the product
► Only use the product after receiving full instruction by qualified person­
nel.
► Do not use the product as an everyday prosthesis.
► Inform the patient.
CAUTION
Excessive strain on the product
Fall due to breakage of load-bearing components
► Use the prosthesis components according to the classification (see
section "Area of Application").
► Inform the patient.
CAUTION
Unallowable combination of prosthesis components
Fall due to breakage or deformation of the product
► Only combine the product with prosthesis components that are
approved according to the section "Combination Possibilities".
► Based on the instructions for use of the prosthesis components, verify
that they may be combined with each other.
CAUTION
Use under unallowable environmental conditions
Fall due to damaged product
► Do not expose the product to unallowable environmental conditions
(see section "Environmental Conditions").
► If the product has been exposed to unallowable environmental condi­
tions, check it for damage.
► If damage is apparent or in case of doubt, do not continue using the
product.
► Take suitable measures if applicable (e. g. cleaning, repair, replace­
ment, inspection by the manufacturer or a specialist workshop etc.).
► Inform the patient.
